CLEA Pre-Conference Interactive Teaching Methods Workshop
A Pre-Conference Interactive Teaching Methods Workshop for law teaches will be held on 8 April 2015 immediately before the CLEA Conference at Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow, Scotland.
The Workshop will be conducted by David McQuoid-Mason, President of CLEA and Professor of Law, Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa; Patricia McKellar, Joint General Secretary of CLEA, Associate Professor and Associate Director Laws Programme, University of London International Programmes; and Helena Whalen-Bridge, National University of Singapore, Faculty of Law.
The Workshop is limited to 30 participants on a ‘first come, first served’ basis and is completely interactive. It will cover an introduction to interactive teaching methods; different interactive teaching methods; demonstrations of interactive lesson techniques and guidelines on preparing interactive lesson plans. Participants will then be given an opportunity to prepare interactive lesson plans and to teach using them.
